How can we prod Google Groups to carry sci.physics.acoustics?

I still don't see sci.physics.acoustics in Google Groups. Does anyone
know what has to be happen for Google Groups to start carrying it? Or
a way to request/prod them to do so?

I just now posted an announcement about sci.physics.acoustics in

comp.internet.services.google

in hopes of stirring that up.

i have also, several times, posted to Google Groups Help Forum (under
"Is Something Broken" and "Groups Suggestions"). it seems that no one
at Google is listening there.

i have tried to find another Google contact, and it appears that they
are very careful not to let any email addresses out for *any* of their
staff. there is no person or contact where it is clear or even hints
at having responsibility. if you're *advertising* with Google, then
there is, but not for any of us freeloaders.

i also asked the guys at sci.physics.foundations how long it took
between their group's adoption and it appearing in Google Groups, and
the answer appeared to be "immediate".

i guess i can dig out $10 or $12 and buy a year's worth of USENET but
i haven't yet felt compelled to.

there appears to be no one at Google listening. they'll ignore yours
just as they did mine.

Don Pearce, you might be right but, even for sci.physics.acoustics
(the creation of which i heartily support), i don't think i will
bother to pay for USENET access.

if and when Google decides to pay attention to their USENET service (i
am not sure that they think it even pays for itself via the "Sponsored
link"), maybe we can get their attention and they'll add s.p.a to
their carry list. but right now i don't think anyone at Google is
paying any attention, even to their Groups Help Forum.

Be happy about this. Google Groups is one of the worst things that
ever happened to Usenet. It is virtually the sole source of all spam
and unpleasantness.
