Hi,

Does anyone know of a fereely available database of speech files? it
looks like a speech database is often refered to as a "corpus",
meaning "collection". Perhaps I should ask for freely available
corpuses then :)

The TIMIT speech corpus is out of my budget at the moment. I'm just
fiddling with speaker recognition algorithms to understand the subject
a bit better.

If anyone knows of a free one, please refer me to it

Thanks,
Adam
